Finding My Croc Shoes

Let me just start by saying, I love my crocs shoes. I was one of the ones who balked at the shoes, taking forever to even try a pair on, mainly because I thought they were the ugliest shoes I’d ever seen, and those colors, who wore those bright, rubbery shoes?

From the first time I slipped a pair on my feet, I did a complete 180 and fell in love right then and there. I started looking at them, trying them on every where I saw them. But I still didn’t buy a pair, because I couldn’t get over the design and the colors. I was holding back because I knew there was no way I would wear them in public.

Then, a few months later, as I was browsing a local shoe store, I came across the shoe that would change my life. The Mary Jane style Crocs. I once again tried them on, adn immediately knew I had to have them. I searched through the boxes to find my size and color, and then ran up to the cashier to pay for them. I put them on as soon as I got into the car, and then sat there smiling for a good five minutes before I drove away. I finally found the perfect shoe. Comfort and style. My feet have been thanking me ever since.

I still had my doubts about some of the Crocs styles, though. A few of them still had that cumbersome, bulky look to them that I just couldn’t swallow. It was tough trying to convince myself to not judge a book by it’s cover, like I had originally done, even after I had bought a pair of Crocs. And then one day at the mall, while shopping at a high end shoe store, I came across the most beautiful shoe ever.

I was almost in disbelief that they were Crocs. It definitely had the comfort all Crocs wearers have come accustomed to, but these were very fashionable. I tried on a few different pairs, and my curiosity began to amount. I wondered just how many other styles of Crocs were there.

When I got home, I walked directly to my computer and went on www.crocs.com. My jaw dropped. There were more Crocs than I could even imagine. There was a style for any taste. They had heels, wedges, metallics. Crocs you could wear with dresses, and Crocs you could wear with dress pants. It was like an endless line of heaven for feet. Now, when it’s time to go out with friends for the night, I no longer have to sacrifice comfort for style. I just put on a pair of my Rio’s, Hanalei’s, or Postiano’s, and I’m ready to go.
